“When I was in many hospitals, the decisions before me were great: My choices, acts, aspirations, goals, research, abilities and kindness to leave without forgetting the past, family, and friends. This left me with a desire to give back. Today, my lifelong attempts at building what I visualize has led me this far. I wish to continue my journey with making the correct choices that not only help myself, but for all people with diabetes. With efforts, from my stay at the Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute and its weekly art classes, I began reflecting.

Today, redefining my artistry, with science, technology, engineering, and math has continued to lead me to eventually make what the world has never seen before. I continue my path in creating a medical device to improve the quality of millions of lives.”
